The European Innovation Council Accelerator

The European Innovation Council (EIC) has been established under the EU Horizon Europe programme and provides a unique combination of grants, investments and business acceleration services to Europe’s most promising start-ups.

The EIC Accelerator is one of the three funding programmes of the EIC. It mainly supports start-ups and spin-out companies to develop and scale-up market-creating innovations.

EAIC Working Group on EIC Accelerator

​Objectives

EAIC Members have supported a significant part of the projects selected by the EIC for funding under EIC Accelerator (40% in 2021). Based on this successful track record, EAIC Members benefit from first-hand experience with the funding programme features and technicalities so they can significantly increase their client success rates in this ultra-selective instrument.

​The EAIC Working Group on EIC Accelerator monitors the implementation of the scheme and provides consolidated feedback and recommendations for improvements to EU institutions.
