The details of the call in question are what motivated us to collaborate with innovation consultants. The timing was limited and the minimum budget high; a big % of the evaluation of the proposal focused on the adequacy and strength of the consortium.

Thanks to the innovation consultants, the final consortium was consolidated with a group of strong companies from diverse agro-food sectors, which together ensured that the project would have a high impact on the Spanish agro-food industry as a whole, which is key for the final evaluation of the proposal.

• Technical support and coordination of all partners, which allowed us to work more on the maturation of the idea and the technical details of the proposal;
• Broad expertise in the preparation of proposals of the same size and characteristics;
• Wide network of contacts among leading companies in the sector as well as research centres, which allows for an interesting partnership to result and also for future collaborations;
• Knowledge about the characteristics of the call in question, which makes it easier to define the KPIs of the project as well as the details of the proposal;
• Merging of two interesting projects into one to build a stronger proposal;
